Why not Wildflowers with Barry Poglein
Wildflowers are here for us, loyal, profuse, often stately, certainly beautiful! Learn about our local wildflowers with Barry Poglein, well known art educator, sculptor, and songwriter.
In his inimitable style, Barry will tell you what pops up along local highways and through cracks in the pavement of your driveway. Learn about these trusty and lovely perennials and how they can work for you from spring through summer and fall. Our 2025 summer topics have included Spring Ephemerals, Violets & More, Into the Shadows, and now, coming Saturday, August 23: If you don't Know, Aster"
Each hour-long session begins at 11 AM, and participants are encouraged to bring a notepad and pencil, and if possible, a field guide for plants of the Northeast. The first sessions received rave reviews. Plan now to join us Saturday morning August 23rd for the final Wildflower session of the summer. Donation is $10, which helps to support the activities of Gallery on Gazebo.
Bring a friend or two! We appreciate your attendance. Your presence helps to support the educational and cultural activities of Gallery on Gazebo.
