Why Not Wildflowers Classes taught by Barry Poglein

Why not Wildflowers with Barry Poglein

Wildflowers are here for us, loyal, profuse, often stately, certainly beautiful! Learn about our local wildflowers now with Barry Poglein, well known art educator, sculptor, and songwriter. In his inimitable style, Barry will tell you what pops up along local highways and through cracks in the pavement of  your driveway. Learn about these trusty and lovely perennials and how they can work for you from spring through summer and fall. Class series includes:

March 22: Spring Ephemerals
May 3: Violets & More
June 28: Into the Shadows
August 23: If you don’t Know, Aster”

The first two sessions, in March and May, received rave reviews from participants. Sessions are held indoors or – weather permitting – outside at Gallery on Gazebo.  Each hour-long session begins at 11 AM, and participants are encouraged to bring a notepad and pencil, and if possible, a field guide for plants of the Northeast.
