Laurel Steinly, ballet dancer and intern, will be teaching adult Barre exercise classes during late June and through July. The program is built on low impact exercises that will challenge you and add a fun dance twist to staying active! Barre fitness mixes ballet technique, pilates, and yoga, into one that allows you to access small muscles you don’t normally use on a daily basis. Ballet training focuses not only on strengthening your body, but improves your balance, breath control, coordination, and ankle stability. This kind of training also focuses on multitasking and learning to control multiple parts of your body, resulting in a stronger mind as well! You do not need to have any dance training prior to signing for for classes, and Laurel is looking forward to working on personalizing classes for each session. You may sign up as an individual, duo, or even as a trio if you would like to have a group session. Classes are $12/ person. Email firstname.lastname@example.org for more information and to sign up.
Gallery on Gazebo will be hosting a 4 week intro to ballet workshop with intern and ballet dancer, Laurel Steinly! Your children will be able to explore dance, learn to tell stories through movement rather than words, learn french terminology and the basics of ballet technique. Classes will be $8/ child for individual classes, or $30 for all four classes! Ages 4-8, no previous dance experience or ballet attire needed! Email laurel@galleryongazebo for more information and to sign up! Classes will be limited to 5 students, so reserve a spot soon!
